Council joins up with The Pump House in Shrewsbury to offer flexible office space

Shropshire Council has joined forces with The Pump House in Shrewsbury to offer new and small businesses flexible, serviced office space. 

Individual desks and offices will be available in the modern, eco-friendly building from Thursday 1 November 2012. 

Mike Owen, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for economic growth and prosperity, said:

“The Pump House offers an ideal base in the centre of the town for start-ups and small businesses.  It’s an excellent initiative which is flexible to suit people’s needs, perfect in the current economic climate.” 

The former Pumping Station at Coton Hill was converted into a high quality, low energy building (rated as ‘excellent’ under the BREEAM environmental assessment) in 2006.
