Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing (STAR Housing), and one of its tenants, are both finalists in national housing awards.

Ernest Wilkie, has been nominated in Tenant of the Year category of the ‘Housing Heroes Awards’; and the STAR Housing Community Kitchen, in the best company health and wellbeing category, for its collaboration with OsNosh.

The Housing Heroes Awards celebrates the leaders, innovators and changemakers across the housing sector.

There were over 330 entries for this year’s Women in Housing and Housing Heroes Awards (two sets of awards that have joined together), and we are thrilled to be shortlisted alongside all the other fantastic teams and individuals within the sector.

Harpreet Rayet, STAR Housing’s Chief Executive, said:-

“We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for this year’s Women in Housing and Housing Heroes Awards: these awards acknowledge our ongoing commitment to our tenants and their wellbeing during a tough economic period.”
